It's 1993 in NYC, and video rental is all the rage. Lou's Outlet, a Hell's Kitchen hub, is the home to the true film aficionado. But amidst the impressive inventory is a cocky staff rife with dysfunction and sordid histories - and yet it will be the most stable thing in the life of an
aimless young cinephile from New Jersey.
